EBC will host our Annual Butterfly Festival on August 22 and 23 in Tobermory at the Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park Visitors Centre. Attendees will learn about the Monarch Butterfly, their migration, and their declining populations. You will participate in capturing, tagging and releasing monarchs allowing us to track their migration to Mexico. Along with these activities we will be hosting nature walks on our Alvar Bay Nature Reserve and stargazing on Saturday night at our Alvar Bay Nature Reserve.
Although attendance is free we will accept and encourage donations to anyone wishing to contribute to EBC. All donations will help EBC on our mission to protect and conserve natural spaces in Southern Ontario.
Our Alvar Bay Nature Reserve is located at 681 Cape Hurd Road, just a short drive from the Visitor Centre.
Please share the event and feel free to print the flyer for distribution!
