Aida moved to Canada from Iran in 2009 at the age of 12. She was instantly fascinated and forever grateful for the importance and value Canadian citizens and the government place on protecting the environment. She has a huge passion for outdoor activities and prioritizes attending her garden during the summer. If you know her personally, you know that Sundays are for gardening!
She completed her MSc in Neuroscience Focused Integrative Biosciences at the University of Western Ontario in 2021. She gained knowledge regarding grant writing and the importance of this skill while completing her thesis. She started working with EBC for a few months in 2022 and rejoined the team in April 2023 as a Fundraising Liaison. She also helps out with any administration work that's needed. Specifically, she took on a significant role in digitizing all our databases and donor profiles during our recent transition period.
