About Ashman Nature Reserve:
We care for this property as a result of a conservation agreement with the Ashmans. The Ashmans also run a company called Rural Rootz on the land which you can check out here. Located just outside of Wiarton on the Trans Peninsular Portage route, this was one of the first properties to be protected by a Conservation Agreement with EBC. It was also the first land in Ontario with an integrated hiking trail as part of the agreement.

What to bring:
- Binoculars (if you have access to some)
- Suitable winter shoes and clothing
- Snacks/water

Who will be my guide?
Jeff Kinchen. Jeff has had a passion for tracking animals since childhood and with over 15 years of guiding experience, you are sure to learn something new about who made those tracks and why!

We hope to see many of our friends and supporters at Ashman's Nature Reserve on March 4th at 12pm-3pm. Remember, if you want to join and are not yet a member, please become a member here: https://escarpment.ca/become-a-member then email hannah@escarpment.ca to register!
