EBC is pleased to join the community in celebrating 2sLGBTQIA Pride month by hosting a Pride Hike through Simmons Nature Preserve in Caledon. This hike aims to create a space where Nature Lovers, who are LGBTQ+ and allies, can connect and enjoy a day outside!
The hike will be led by Ashley Brown (she/her), a lover of all things EBC and Queer. Ashley was a former EBC summer student and has led community gatherings like the Toronto Pride Dyke March and hosted queer events large and small. Although she loves being an active member of the LGBTQ+ community, her first love is and will always be ecology and getting outside. In her mind, nothing could be better than combining the two for a day of fun, inclusivity, and appreciation for nature. She hopes to see you there!
