September 30th is both the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, dedicated to honoring survivors of the residential school system and their communities.
To recognize the significance of this day, Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy extends a heartfelt invitation to the public to visit one of our wilderness preserves, and be in nature as we reflect on our shared truth and history, as part of our ongoing commitment to reconciliation
Through conservation, EBC hopes to promote a holistic way of relating to the Earth - one that emphasizes respect, reciprocity, gratitude and two-eyed seeing.
