History

This reserve is 100 acre, with both a coniferous stand and a swamp.

Features

The basal area of the White Pine stand was 22 and the average in the remainder of the woodlot was 34. Cavity trees and snags were observed.

Good quality White and Red Pine and Cedar are present, scattered through very dense Balsam Fir, Polar and Birch. The Pine and Cedar. are approximately eighty years old with the older species approzimately forty years old.
