This property is 96.89 acres. Approximately 23% of it is forested wetland, 17% wetland, and 60% forest.
Significant Features
This property is designated as Escarpment Natural Area. These areas are considered to represent the most significant natural and scenic areas of the Escarpment.
The property consists of forested and wetland area, delimited by woodland in the east and south, and by some agricultural areas in the northwest. There is approximately 35 acres of upland hardwood bush, a 3-acre pine plantation with the remaining 60 acres being flooded lowland forest type.
There are three Niagara Escarpment Plan Parks around the subject property: The Glen Management Area, Indian Creek Management Area, and Indian Falls Conservation Area.
Location
Township of Keppel, Municipality of Georgian Bluffs, County of Grey, Ontario.
The reserve is located on the west end of Concession 10 Road, which starts 2.32 km southeast the intersection of Grey Road 170 and Grey Road 17.
