History

This property is 9.4 acres and was donated to EBC in 2007.

Significant Features

The property is a upland deciduous forest with a patch of evergreen trees on the middle west. It is part of the forested creeks network, also surrounded by agricultural lands. This swamp is also part of a wildlife concentration area where a Mixed Wader Nesting Colony has been reported.

Location

The Sinkhole Nature Reserve is located in the Township of West Grey, 3.7 km northwest of Markdale.
