Andrews Whites Point

Andrews White's Point Reserve is a 6.5-acre property protecting 1,200 feet of Lake Huron shoreline. It was donated to EBC in 2007 by Dr. Ronald Andrews. As a wetland, this reserve has varying amounts of marsh and is home to a variety of species at risk both provincially and nationally.

Significant Features

The Andrews White Point reserve protects over 1,200 feet of Lake Huron shoreline! Many species at risk have been observed on the property including Houghton’s Goldenrod, Black Tern, Blanding’s Turtle, and Snapping Turtle.

Location

This reserve is located on the northeastern side of the District of Manitoulin in the Town of Little Current, Ontario. The reserve can be accessed from southern Ontario by traveling north along highway 6 from Little Current to White’s Point Road. Head east on White’s Point Road for approximately 1.5 km. The reserve is located on the southeast side of the road. Visit our bird blind for viewing shorebirds!
