Harvey Reserve

History

This is a 46-acre nature reserve that we acquired in 2008.

Significant Features

This reserve is located in the Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve with Mud Creek flowing along the western side. The Eastern Whip-poor-will, a threatened species of bird has been seen on this reserve. You can access our Farquharson Reserve which is not far from this reserve.

Location

Starting in Mansfield, head 17 km north on Airport Road, go west on Mulmur Nottawasaga Townline and continue approximately 3 km to the deviation. Look for EBC signs at Mud Creek.

The loop trail takes you up the gorge formed by a glacial blow-out, through the field at the top and back on the ridge to the Townline.
