This 67.70 acres property is forested (with the exception of the wetland) and therefore in addition to being designated Provincially
Significant Wetland, the property is also designated as Significant Woodlands.
The entirety of the property is located within Grey Sauble Conservation Authority’s Regulated Area and is identified
in the Sauble River Watershed Plan. The Trafelet property will help support a healthy watershed by contributing to forest cover, wetland buffers and groundwater quality. In addition to Sauble River Watershed Plan, the Trafelet property is also part of the Rankin Resources Management Area which is an 80 square kilometre complex of lakes, rivers, wetlands, upland forests and agricultural lands covering an area immediately north of Sauble Falls Provincial Park.
If driving north on Saubtle Falls Parkway, the property is located on the right hand side.
