EBC purchased this 100-acre property in 2006 to protect this portion of the Escarpment and create trail access.
This property has a low soil level and is semi-alvar habitat through which birch, poplar, cedar, and scattered White Pines grow. This property contains many Escarpment features such as the Dolostone and strata.
The property can be reached from Highway 6 north of South Baymouth and the 542 crossing at New England Road however it is very difficult to access. Proceed about 4 km north on New England Road, bearing right. The trail leaves to the right at the point the road turns west to the camp on the shore. Follow the white blazes along the road allowance to the Escarpment at the old snowmobile bridge.
